Every one­­­ of us want to boost our memory so that we become more intelligent and smart. Even one who is good at studies wants to do so. So, here I have brought 4 ways to BOOST UP YOUR MEMORY!!! One will definitely see results of following these ways in few days.

1)      SLEEP WELL: - As most of us know that we all should do Hard Work. It is also important to take complete rest. Many adults advise us to sleep or rest well. A child between the age of 3 to 10 should take a necessary sleep of 9-10 hours. Whereas, in adults sleep for 7-8 hours is enough. Researchers have also proved that a man with good amount of rest can perform things more efficiently than a man who does not sleep well. Studies have shown that memory consolidation happens during sleep. Studies have also proved that if we take a small sleep after we learn something new we can learn it faster and better. Therefore, a good sleep is necessary for a very good memory and IQ.
2)      Picture learning: - Studies have shown that humans can remember images more than any text or paragraph. So, imagine what you read in the form of pictures so that you mind may remember them for a longer period and make your memory and brain efficient.
3)      Tension/Stress avoidance: - Our brain’s part which is responsible for the retrieval of rusted (old) memories and the formation of new memories is called hippocampus. Stress or tension and very badly affect this region of our brain. More the stress more will be the anger. And everyone knows that anger causes harm to our own body and brain. Lower stress levels have a positive effect on all our brain functions and it also enables our memory to work more wisely and optimally.
4)      Notes making: - Many people in this world have a habit of forgetting things or events easily like our homework, assignment, etc. If you are one of them, then use a sheet of paper or notebook to write all important things of the day. This will prevent you from forgetting it by cleaning up your memory. You can also use sticky motes that serve as constant reminders to people using it. Setting reminder in our phones or tablets can also contribute to it.

Things which also must be taken care of : -

1)      If you want a sharp and solid memory then you should cover your school/college syllabus by dividing it into parts and learning it into several sessions. We should not even try to cram everything just before the exams.
2)      We should avoid all the things or objects that distract or divert us from our path whether be it social media.
3)      Discussion in a group can also help us understand things better. It also enhances the quality of our understanding.
4)      Reading aloud might help you to learn and understand things better. If you feel comfortable to read aloud than you should surely try this method or else don’t try it.
