Time Management

It is very important to work hard in a student’s life. It will not be wrong to say that a student’s life is hectic. To make a bright future it is very important to learn to manage time. If one learns to manage time his productivity will surely increase and he will not be complaining about the lack of time in his life. So, here we are with some very useful tips which will help one to manage his/her time.

1) Distraction Free Environment:-

It is very common that every one of us wants to utilize his/her time but some distractive objects or thoughts keep them away to achieve their goals. Many times we are unable to complete our tasks, only because of distractions. Therefore, it is very important to close all doors of distractions before going to our work or before studying. You can start with keeping a time log for a few days. In that time log, note down things you do in a day and log the time taken by you to complete each of them. From now onwards, start to figure out the unwanted tasks that take up your time and also try to avoid them. We should switch off our mobile phones or turn the silent or mute mode on in it. We should also log off social media accounts before working. It will be better to take out a separate time to watch televisions, use mobiles or to check important messages or to do outdoor activities because not doing any outdoor activity will make you a dull person.

2) Good Sleep:-

Taking a good sleep will not only refreshes us but also clears our mind and a clear mind processes things faster and better. It will also help us to concentrate us on our works. Generally for teenagers a good sleep means a sleep for about 7-8 hours a day.

3) Night’s Time:-

We should also take out some time to think of our activities done in the whole day and prepare a list of the things to do on the next day. While preparing the list we should divide all the things to be done on next day into three groups i.e. A, B and C, putting the very important works in group A and the mid-priority works in group B and the minimum priority works in section C.

4) Multi-tasking:-

The process in which we try to do many things at a time is known as multi-tasking. Many people think that while doing multiple things at a time, they save a lot of time. However, it’s not so because when we do so our brain processes every work slowly causing the wastage of time. It will also decrease your productivity. So, it will be better to focus on only one work at a time.
